Carl E. Conti

SIL4 Systems was founded by President and CEO Carl Conti, who has more than 25 years of experience with embedded systems product design.  His vision is one that will bring flexible, scalable, and application-ready platforms to address critical safety needs in a variety of industries, including rail transportation.

Mr. Conti’s past experience includes VP of Engineering at both Gigahertz and TTA Systems, and as Engineering Management for Union Switch and Signal, Accelight Networks, Applied Electro-Optics, and Westinghouse.  Other experience includes design engineering and consulting for Carnegie Mellon University, Charles Stark Draper Laboratory (M.I.T.), and McDonnell Douglas Astronautics. 

Mr. Conti holds a BSEE from Pennsylvania State University, and has done graduate work and research at Carnegie-Mellon University, Northeastern University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
